Ice Pigging™ negates replacement of rising sewer main

Eight years ago Severn Trent was preparing for implementation of a capital replacement project of a rising main until they found out about our services. The Ice Pigging™ team serviced the main and increased the flow enough to make the replacement project unnecessary, not only saving money for our client, but also a significant reduction in CO2 emissions.

This year, the main has been cleaned again with Ice Pigging™ – improving the flow from 0.8 l/sec to 1.5 l/sec (88% improvement), which should keep the main running well for another eight years.
